CREAMY FRUIT CHAAT

Fruit chaat is so famous during the month of Ramadan, I know we all make it every single day for Iftar and then forget it for the rest of the year. Ramadan is so close by and I can’t resist but share this creamy fruit chaat recipe. Creamy fruit chaat is made up of different types of fruits combined with cream, yogurt and chaat masala along with some nuts and raisins and served chilled.

To take this to another level I like to top this up with some vanilla ice cream, some date syrup and more nuts. So delicious!

INGREDIENTS YOU WILL NEED:

  • 250 ml Double cream
  • 1/2 cup thick yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • fruits of choice
  • nuts of choice
  • vanilla ice cream( optional)
  • date syrup( optional)

HOW TO MAKE CREAMY FRUIT CHAAT

In a bowl, add cream, yogurt, chaat masala, salt and sugar. Whisk it well to combine all the ingredients. Now add cut fruits of your choice ( I added chopped apples, bananas, kiwi, strawberries, grapes and pineapple). Then add dry fruits of your choice( I added chopped almonds, figs, dates and black currants). Combine all of them gently, and your creamy fruit chaat is ready. So simple right!

HOW TO SERVE FRUIT CHAAT

Creamy fruit chaat tastes best when chilled, so keep it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to chill. Later serve this in a bowl and then I would also like to top it with some vanilla ice cream. I love to drizzle some date syrup and garnish with some more nuts on top. Now you are all set to enjoy the delicious fruit chaat ever!

You can get creative and try different topping to suit your needs. Anyways this recipe tastes amazing.
