You can enjoy them as a starter or serve with some flavoured rice, these wings are going to be a sure hit!

INGREDIENTS YOU WILL NEED:

  • 750 g chicken wings
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 3 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 tsp chopped coriander
  • 1.5 tsp chili flakes
  • Juice of 1 whole lemon

SEASONING THE CHICKEN

The seasoning is pretty simply. Take some chicken wings in a bowl and first season them with 3/4 tsp of baking powder. Baking powder makes the wings crispy. I am warning you to not add too much of baking powder as it can make your wings bitter in taste and you do not want that to happen.

Then you are going to add some paprika, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt and onion powder. Mix everything well and in case you feel you need some oil, do not hesitate to add 2-3 tsp of oil.

AIR FRYING THE CHICKEN

Place the wings in the air fryer basket and air fry for about 20 minutes at 185 degree celsius. Although 20 minutes is enough for the wings to get cooked completely, every air fryer behaves differently so keep a close eye on it.

If you do not have an air fryer you can bake them in over or simply deep fry in oil. It should give you similar results.

PREPARING THE BUTTER GARLIC SAUCE

Now it’s time to prepare the butter garlic sauce to coat our chicken wings. The chicken wings get all the flavour from the buttery garlicky lemony sauce. All you need to do is to heat 1/4 cup of butter and sauté minced garlic. Then you add some chilli flakes, lots of lemon juice and some chopped coriander leaves. Add those fried chicken wings into the pan and coat each and every single piece with that buttery sauce. Serve with any dip of choice as a starter or serve with flavoured rice and enjoy!
